Nike SB Dunk Low Ebay "Sandy Bodecker"

The original Ebay x Nike SB Dunk Lows are considered to be a legend of is own. In August 2003, one was auctioned off for charity and sold for $30,000, and the other was dismantled to be a true one of one.

Since the identity of the owner of said pair is unknown, the Charity's legendary status among collectors has existed only in urban legend. The eBay Dunk Low provides some transparency and the missing piece to the impossibly complex puzzle.

Now in honor of the Nike SB 20th Anniversary, there are releasing in honor the man behind its skateboarding category with a sneaker that references one of the rarest SBs ever, the “Ebay” Dunk. And to Honer Sandy Bodeckers.

 

The 2022 eBay Dunk reconstructs the famous colorway in patent leather with translucent chopped-up windows, adds Nike SB Forever accents, and includes photo insoles honoring Sandy Bodecker and his significant contributions to SB's legacy and storytelling.

For 2022, the Dunk Low returns in the same color scheme as the original. It features a White base with eBay’s signature Red, Yellow, Blue, and Green overlays. This new version will now feature “clear” stripes across the sole and side panels as a nod to where the original eBay Dunk Low sample was cut. The heel panels will also feature SB branding instead of the eBay logo. Finishing touches includes special graphic insoles of Sandy Bodecker and his son.
